No template was picked. One move was taken per section.

Both pages were written from scratch. What came out of the reference pack was a single decision per section, taken from a different frame each time. Everything else in those frames — their palette, their mockup, their mood — was deliberately left behind. Below: the frame on the left, what was taken and what was dropped in the middle, and the section it became underneath.

Why it matters. Copying a whole reference's feel is what produced the earlier rebuilds that came out competent and generic. A frame is a parts bin, not a template. Frame 28 is used on both sites and does a different job on each: two chips on VNG, eight cells on NPT.

Nine sections. Five took a move from a frame; four came from vnglabs.com's own approved copy and needed no reference at all.

Hero

Took: One object under a single light, copy on the left, and the middle line of the headline set thin against two heavy ones. The calm light-neutral ground came from frame 35.
Left: The black. Frame 26's ground is essentially pure black, and the vial is photographed on grey glass, so black shows straight through it. The stage stayed light.

What it became. The two chips inside the copy block are frame 28's move: two quiet spec chips, not the three-stat hero template that frames 04, 34 and 38 all use.

The ledger

Took: The approved “Purity is where most vendors stop” copy, word for word, re-set as a comparison ledger with an asymmetric split and a side that stays put while the rows scroll.
Left: Nothing from the pack. A claims table is a content problem, not a composition problem.

Catalog rail

Took: Product editorial on a light neutral, from frame 35. The bucketing came from the reference-sites list instead: three or four buckets on the surface, detail below, which is how Thelen and East & Gray handle a long service list.
Left: The watch, the thumbnails strip, the index numeral.

The stage

Took: Three bottles standing on one shared floor, as a single composition rather than three cards side by side.
Left: The black ground, the snake, and the glass cards each bottle sits inside. The staggered platform is your own idea from 20 August, not the frame's.

Took: Three sections of approved copy verbatim, including the clinician referral and disclosure wording ruled on in August. Set as a numbered list with no cards.

Seven sections, six of them taking a move from a different frame. Every word is the approved NPT page's own; nothing is claimed that Niko has not supplied.

Hero

Took: A ghost word sitting behind the subject, and one diagonal accent line crossing the frame. The headline broken by slashes came from frame 18.
Left: Frame 36's grey, its jacket, and its several crossing strings — one line reads deliberate, four read like a screensaver. Frame 18's white ground went too.

What it became. His photo behind the text, his logo's orange on the slashes and the one line.

The session

Took: Spec chips pinned onto the subject itself rather than floating in the layout, so they read as labels on a thing.
Left: The bike, the name plate, the hard black.

What it became. Sixty minutes, one to one, written up — his three facts, on the barbell.

The seven disciplines

Took: A numbered list as the section's own structure, instead of a grid of icon cards.
Left: The slate ground, the chrome shape, the studio framing.

What it became. Injury rehab stays seventh, as it is in his own list.

Daily Hero frame 02 — 02 · Midnight Couture

Between sessions

Took: Hairline column rules running through the section, so the layout has a visible grid holding it rather than floating text.
Left: The moss, the rounded photo cards that cross the subject, the whole green palette.

What it became.

The trainer

Took: Paragraphs flanking the subject on both sides, so the photo sits inside the text rather than beside it.
Left: The ivory ground, the serif drop caps, the armour, the red petals.

What it became.

Daily Hero frame 28 — 28 · Crystal Lotus

The particulars

Took: Quiet spec cells: a small label, one line of fact, no card, no icon, no shadow.
Left: The navy, the crystal flower, the index. Same frame as the VNG chips, doing a completely different job — two chips there, eight cells here.

What it became. Hours, area, session length, fees — the only credential available when a trainer has no certificates on file.

The close

Took: The approved page's own contact order: the phone number before anything else, because the reader already has his number and is only checking he is real.
Left: Nothing from the pack. No form, no repeated calls to action — all of that was removed from NPT in September as wrong for the job.

What it became.

Source frames are Daily Hero by the designer SNOWS, published free on Figma Community under CC BY 4.0, captured on 8 September. The pack sold as “Grigoletto Templates” is those files. All 43, with what each really contains, are on the keep and cut sheet.

Section shots were taken from the two live pages on 9 September at 1440px wide. Neither page is production: VNG's revamp lives on the alt-preview host and vnglabs.com is untouched; NPT direction 2 lives on its own subdomain and npt.voxoralabs.com is untouched.

The procedure itself is written down as the one-move skill, so it runs on every build rather than depending on which session is working.
